I recently launched a new web site, SportFishMichigan.com, and I’m ecstatic to report that the results are just what I was hoping that they would be. The internet is playing a larger and larger role in growing businesses, and with so much social media to keep up with, and ever-changing optimization priorities on search engines, it’s crucial to keep up-to-date in order to capture as much web traffic as possible. Where print ad was once king in attracting customers, the internet now is the new preferred medium for many advertisers.
I find myself squarely in the middle—having a need to appear in print media as well as the on the internet. More and more, potential customers are searching the web looking for viable options for travel accommodations and other things like fishing guides. With the launch of the new SportFishMichigan.com site, I hope to be able to deliver. It’s my hope to give these potential customers the ability to see a little bit about my two guide companies—Traverse City Bass and Manistee River Salmon—get to know us a bit better, see to what we’re up to, and even to see some photos from some of our past trips.
